Ruby-Con Bring and Buy

Do you own any games which you are looking to sell? Come to Ruby-Con on Saturday 6th September for a great opportunity to find buyers.

As part of Ruby-Con, we'll be hosting a Bring and Buy. Anyone who donates at least £5 to our Great Ormond Street Charity appeal will be allowed to add up to five items to our Bring and Buy stand. 

Purchases will be made between the seller and buyer. If you are selling an item this way you will need to add your contact details which customers can use to get in touch with you to make the sale (we'll provide you with a form with all the information you'll need including expected price).

If you would prefer, you can also use this stand to simply donate items; we'll handle any sales and donate the amount directly to Great Ormond Street Hospital as part of our appeal.

A few common sense rules:

• To be eligible to add items to our stand, you'll need to provide evidence that you have donated at least £5 to our Great Ormond Street Charity appeal - all you'll need to provide is the confirmation receipt number that JustGiving will provide you will automatically.
• Attendees will be restricted to selling 5 items or less, and no like-new games will be allowed - this is an opportunity to pass on your pre-loved games to new owners, not to compete with us! We will not accept items which are sealed with shrinkwrap or with the original packaging stickers.
• Sellers are responsible to meeting buyers in the main hall to make the transaction. Sellers will be provided with a cloakroom ticket that matches their game, which either they or the seller will require to reclaim the game from our display table.
• We will of course take all reasonable precautions to protect your property, all items on the Bring and Buy table will be left at the owners' risk. We will have a volunteer at the stand at all times. We cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage.
• All unsold items must be collected by 5pm on the day, at the end of the convention. Unclaimed items will be donated to charity.

This is a great opportunity to get hold of some long out of print games that you've been trying to get your hands on, so make sure you visit our Bring & Buy stand and pick up some bargains!
