Dragon Overload (release date 1st August)

For 2-4 players, ages 14+, playing time is around 45-60 minutes.

A spectacular duel unfolds between sky-scraping peaks and glittering caves deep beneath the earth. You take turns sending out mighty dragons to conquer five home areas. But place them wisely! If the beasts grow too powerful, they'll turn on each other, and you could lose everything.

Welcome to Dragon Overload. In this tactical card game, you compete to send your dragons into five landscapes and thereby gain majority there. To do this, you place up to three color-matching cards in each of the five home areas. If you have nothing suitable in your hand or wish to conceal your tactics somewhat, you can also play cards face down.

The first player to hold the majority in all five home areas or the player who has won the most duels after all landscapes are filled, wins. Sounds simple - if it weren't for a few special rules! First, you may only play a maximum of three cards face down. If you can't play any more matching cards after that, victory goes to your opponent.

And then there's the matter of discipline. If your dragons are busy with enough opponents in their landscapes by the end, they'll keep things under control. But if their strength exceeds the opposing side by at least double, they become uncontrollable and their squabbling will cause you to lose the area.
