Since their first editions published in the 2000s, Cold City and Hot War have been known for their amazing art created by illustrator and graphic designer Paul Bourne.

These games presented the rare and highly valuable proposition wherein the games’ co-creator provided visuals for the games from the outset, working in partnership with the text. Decades later, this methodology has continued into the second editions of the games.
