A Town Called Malice is the new story game by Monkeyfun Studios. It’s a dark combination of Nordic Noir such as “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” with isolated small-town horror like “Thirty Days of Night”, “The Thing” and “Salem’s Lot”.

Malice is based on the Story Pillar System, created by Protagonist Industries in their amazing work, “Home by Dark” by Jason Olsan. This system utilizes story game elements popularized in games such as Fiasco, where players develop the narrative and create complex character relationships as they struggle to keep the town together while facing an unspeakable darkness.
